TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
